Our baby room provides care for babies from 0-2 years, providing a caring environment where children are encouraged to develop their early skills as set out in the EYFS, through a range of stimulating equipment, activities and interaction encouraging learning through play.
Caring For Your Child

Children are cared for by experienced staff with a ratio of one staff member to every three children. Your child will be allocated a key person who will form a close bond with you child, observe and recorded their learning and development.
You will receive a daily sheet detailing your child’s feeding, changing and sleeping for the day. When your child is approaching two after discussion with you they will begin a series of visits to the upstairs room along with their key person to ensure a smooth transition before being allocated a new key person in the older room.
Babies will be provided with their own formula milk and weaning foods, then later encouraged to try a range of food on our menu.
We have a separate sleep/ cot room for the children to keep to their own sleep routines. All bed linen is laundered at the nursery.
All nappies and wipes are provided at no extra cost, unless you wish to use a specific brand/ type, which we would ask you to provide. We supply cream (sudocrem) unless you wish to use another nappy cream which we would ask you to provide.
We ask that children wear appropriate clothing (crawling, messy, outdoor play). We can provide spare clothing but if you wish to you may bring a bag with spares, please make sure these are named.
If your child has a special comfort object such as a toy or blanket we encourage you to bring it, making sure it is named.
We understand it can be very difficult as a parent to leave your child, please feel free to call the nursery at any time if you are worried. We will be happy to let you know how your child is getting on.
